We meet every Tuesday evening 7pm - 9pm at The Coopers and Coborn School in Upminster. Just pop along to see what its all about.

Our first gig - 2009 The Queens Theatre Hornchurch

Ever thought how wonderful it would be to play the saxophone. To meet new people that shared your love of the sax.
If you currently play the saxophone alone in your bedroom with only your wife or husband in the audiance then take that next step and join The Havering Saxophonics.

Welcome

The Havering Saxophonics is a small friendly informal club open to anyone wanting to play the saxophone in a group. We understand how hard it is to get the time to learn and play the saxophone as a adult with all the distractions of that life holds. So for 2 hours on a tuesday you can put all your worries behind you, dust down your sax and come along for an evening of sax mayhem. Under the leadership of Rob Downing you can meet with other like minded players in a very informal gathering. There is no age limit and no ability restriction however you will need to read music to a level around grade 3. If you are unsure of your ability we can help assess you or you are more than welcome to come along to one of the evenings and have a chat and look over the pieces for yourself.
